About a week after he set sail from Rhode Island on the east coast of America, Mark Robinson noticed that water was seeping into his yacht. He immediately put on his mask, followed by his snorkel and finally, his fins. Then, he dived into the water to find out what was wrong. He did not see anything amiss at first but he soon noticed a crack at the edge of the yacht. He immediately returned to the yacht to get his emergency repair kit.
After smearing patch sealant on one side of the gap, Mark dived into the water again to place a patch on the other side over the gap. The patch stuck securely even though it was underwater.
Mark was still checking the patch when he noticed a shark approaching him. He stared at it open-mouthed, too stunned to move. Seconds later, he scrambled back into his yacht. Fortunately for him, all the shark did was circle the boat before swimming away.
