语法要点
Countable Nouns · 可数名词
可数名词有单数和复数两种形式，可以在前面加 a/an 或数字。常见的可数名词有 dog、cat、book、pen、apple 等。
Uncountable Nouns · 不可数名词
不可数名词不能用 a/an，也不能直接加数字。常见的不可数名词：water（水）、milk（牛奶）、rice（米饭）、sugar（糖）、sand（沙）、air（空气）。
I drink water every day.（不能说 a water 或 two waters）
Regular Plural · 直接加 -s
大多数可数名词直接在末尾加 -s 变成复数。
Regular Plural · s / x / ch / sh 结尾，加 -es
这些结尾读起来已经有"嘶"的音，再加 -s 嘴巴说不顺，所以要加 -es。
Regular Plural · 辅音 + y 结尾，-y → -ies
若 y 前面是元音字母（a/e/i/o/u），直接加 -s 即可；若 y 前面是辅音字母，要把 y 改成 ies。
Regular Plural · -f / -fe 结尾，变为 -ves
以 f 或 fe 结尾的名词，把 f / fe 去掉，再加 -ves 变成复数。
Irregular Plural · 不规则复数，需要特别记
这些词的复数完全不按规则变化，必须单独记忆。
Invariable Noun · 单复数相同
有些名词单复数形式完全相同，不需要任何变化。常见的有：sheep（羊）、fish（鱼）、deer（鹿）。
容易搞错的地方
tooth → teeth
牙齿的复数，不是 tooths，要把 oo 变成 ee
I brush my teeth every morning.
foot → feet
脚的复数，不是 foots，要把 oo 变成 ee
I have two feet.
man → men
男人的复数，不是 mans，把 a 变成 e
There are three men in the room.
woman → women
女人的复数，不是 womans，把 a 变成 e（注意：woman 读 /wʊmən/，women 读 /wɪmɪn/）
Two women are talking outside.
child → children
小孩的复数，不是 childs 也不是 childrens，要用 children
The children are playing in the park.
mouse → mice
老鼠的复数，不是 mouses，要用 mice
I see two mice in the kitchen.
goose → geese
鹅的复数，不是 gooses，把 oo 变成 ee
I can see three geese by the pond.
person → people
人的复数，日常口语用 people，不用 persons
There are many people in the park.
cactus → cacti
仙人掌的复数，不是 cactuses（虽然也可接受），标准复数是 cacti
The desert has many cacti.
ox → oxen
公牛的复数，不是 oxs，要用 oxen
The farmer has two oxen.
die → dice
骰子的复数，不是 dies，要用 dice
We need two dice to play this game.
penny → pence
便士的复数，不是 pennys，英国货币单位
He has a few pence in his pocket.
louse → lice
虱子的复数，不是 louses，要用 lice
The doctor found lice in his hair.
fish → fish（不变）
鱼的复数和单数一样，不加 s
I can see five fish in the tank.
sheep → sheep（不变）
羊的复数和单数完全一样，加 s 是错的
There are ten sheep on the farm.
